We build brands
that earn the
apostrophe in
‘theirs.

Adostrophe is a small, deliberate digital marketing studio in the South Indian hills. We make brand systems, performance media, and content for operators who'd rather build something worth defending than something easy to explain.

S — 01.1Strategy

Brand & positioning strategy

The unfashionable, slow work: figuring out who the brand is for, what it's actually selling, and what it has to refuse. We write it down so a junior marketer can carry it three years later without phoning us.

  • Positioning briefs
  • Audience & category audits
  • Messaging architecture
S — 01.2Identity

Visual identity systems

Wordmarks, type, colour, motion, and the small details that make a brand worth defending. We work in long arcs — not seasonal refreshes — and document everything to handover quality.

  • Naming & verbal identity
  • Visual + motion systems
  • Guideline architecture
S — 01.3Web

Web & commerce

Marketing sites, headless storefronts, and the occasional internal tool. Modern stack, opinionated taste — built for the operations team that has to live in the CMS after launch.

  • Next.js & Astro builds
  • Shopify · WooCommerce
  • Headless CMS & admin
S — 01.4Media

Performance media

Paid acquisition across Meta, Google, YouTube, and the regional platforms that actually move the needle. We chase contribution margin and incrementality — not platform-reported ROAS theatre.

  • Account audits + rebuilds
  • Creative testing systems
  • Attribution & incrementality
S — 01.5Content

Content & production

Original editorial, photography, and short-form video — made by the same people who have to make it perform. Production and performance under one roof; feedback in days, not weeks.

  • Editorial programming
  • Photography & film
  • Creator & UGC briefs
S — 01.6Measurement

Data & measurement

Clean ingestion, honest dashboards, and models that survive a board meeting. We treat measurement as a load-bearing feature of the business — not a quarterly afterthought.

  • GA4 pipelines
  • Attribution & LTV models
  • Executive reporting

Direct-to-consumer · 14 months

From a tired catalogue to a category-defining brand.

An eight-figure heritage DTC brand that had quietly lost the plot — strong product, weaker story, advertising that read like its own competitors. We rebuilt the positioning, the visual system, and the paid stack in a single coordinated pass. First profitable Q4 in three years.

A boutique hotel that didn't need to discount.

A small, well-located property losing the search auction to OTAs. We rebuilt the site for direct booking, replaced a brittle paid stack with a margin-led approach, and shipped a content programme that paid for itself in three months.

B2B SaaS · 6-month sprint

A category leader that finally sounded like itself.

A vertical SaaS that read like a competitor's site. We rebuilt naming, identity, narrative, and the marketing site in one coordinated pass — and rewrote the buyer journey so every page paid back its existence in pipeline. Their Series B closed two weeks later.

Founder-led commerce · productised retainer

Quiet, compounding work for a portfolio of small brands.

A founder-operator with four sub-brands, each too small to justify its own agency and too important to ignore. We run a shared strategy, creative, and media bench across the portfolio — priced by output, not seats. Three of the four have doubled revenue under the arrangement.

Adostrophe Digital Marketing is an independent operating partnership headquartered in Kotagiri, in the Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu. We were not started to chase a category, a deck, or a round of funding. We were started because the people who built it kept running into the same problem from inside larger agencies: the people closest to the work were the furthest from the decisions.

So the structure is the point. Senior operators stay on the account. Junior staff exist to learn, not to absorb margin. The roster is intentionally small enough that the partners read every report before it ships, and small enough that we turn down more work than we accept.

Being headquartered in the hills, rather than in a metro tower, is also the point. The work is the same; the meetings are fewer; the thinking is longer. We serve clients across India, the Gulf, Southeast Asia, the UK and North America — all of whom care more about whether the work moves a line on a P&L than where it was built.

Our practice sits at an unfashionable intersection: media buying that respects engineering, engineering that respects brand, brand that respects the P&L. Each discipline is supposed to make the others better. When it doesn't, that's a problem worth fixing — not papering over with a louder deck.

We've shipped work for venture-backed consumer brands, hospitality groups, regional publishers, vertical SaaS platforms, family businesses we've worked with for the better part of a decade, and a small but stubborn list of founders who'd rather be told the truth quickly than the right thing slowly.

If any of that sounds like a partner you've been looking for, the door is open. If it sounds like a partner you'd avoid, that's useful information too.
